So I have a 7 month old Boston Terrier/Beagle Mix.

I am not sure why, but the area below his penis has these red dots.

What could these red dots be? I am not sure what part of his body that even is... it is not his anus and below his penis.. Is it normal for dogs to have red dots like that?

He has a scheduled visit to the Vet in 3 weeks. Should I monitor and wait to see if it gets worse and bring it up to the Vet when I go in? Or does this look like something that needs immediate attention?

Also, why does my dog have brown spots on his skin, like the kind you see in the picture? Is that normal for Boston Terriers/Beagles?? He also has those spots on the skin around his ear...

Its probably just a rash. Go to the vets to get cream/make sure its nothing serious.

They are not ticks! Ticks are brown,black or gray. They look like flea bites or some type of allergy. Put some hydrocortisone cream on them and if they don't get better,call your vet. And yes,the spots are normal.

The red dots appear to me to be insect bites of some sort. Could be fleas, or something else biting him. If he's not been treated with a good quality monthly spot-on recently (like frontline, advantage, advantix, revolution, etc), I would do so now.

The brown spots are just variations in his skin pigment. They are normal for many dogs, and not something to be concerned about.

Infected flea bites. He may be developing an allergy. Give him a bath in a soothing Ti Tree shampoo, and treat him with Frontline, available from the vet.

It's probably an allergy or a rash. My dog has the same thing and he gets them when he has fleas. Take your dog to the vet.

omg those are ticks you need to take your dog to emergency vet right away or he could be paralyzed or even die
