Hey guys, my poor dog jumped off the sofa and I guess she landed on her legs wrong, and shes leaping now :( when I picked her up to see if she was okay she started weeping. She's fine now, acting normal, but shes still leaping.

Should I take her to the vet right away tomorrow, or wait a bit to see if it gets better?
I'm very worried :(

you shouldnt let her run or move around alot, that might move some more things in her legs if she did land wrong. i dont know why she would be leaping though... :P

Do you mean limping? She may have jarred it. If she is a little dog, she might have a fracture.

yes take her to the vet first thing in the morning if you wait more damage could happen. nip it in the bud. i have a very large dog and am now using a sling to help him in and out of the house due to ACL problems. its always best to have things checked out pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Keep her quiet and take her in if she's still LIMPING tomorrow. Put her in her crate or in your bed or somewhere she will stay laid down for the nite.

I think the word you are looking for is "limping" on her leg. I am guessing she is not Leaping about if she is sore on a leg. What type of dog would be good to know. And does she have fine bones. Also was it a rear or front leg that she injured, if just for a few moments. Also will she let you run your hand down the sore leg...Will be glad to help u determine if your pup is hurt or just a little sore. God Bless Reggie
