My dog's paw pads are dry and peeling?
Is this normal? Is it because I live in a dry climate? My dog doesn't seem to be feeling any pain but she has a pretty high pain tolerance so it's hard to tell.
She's a half Pomeranian, half Chihuahua. She's four years old.
Sometimes my dogs paw pads peel too. It could be because of the dry climate. make sure to keep them moisture, get some kind of cream. all dogs paws peel, so its up to you wheather you should do something about, age wouldnt do anything

Try a little cod liver oil in her food (1/8 to1/4 tsp) 2 times a week, for 2 weeks. If this works, give it for 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. If she gets diarhea, reduce the amount and play the number of times you give it per week. Good Luck
