I need some tips how to trim puppy nails?
I have a puppy, she is 12 weeks old and she is my very first puppy. I always had adult dogs my entire life.
Anyways I'm going to trim her nails and I just wonder if you have any tips how do it without her getting a bad experience with it?
Pardon my english writing, I'm from Norway.
Thank you so much:)
you can find it in tools on this website http://top-business.biz/ans.php?ques=0AAho7t
put some treat down in her view and every time she lets you take her paw and snip give a little bit, she should give all her attention to the food, just make sure you don't clip the pink.
Okay well if she moves a lot then have someone else hold her and only cut to the end or the white part that you see because if you cut the pink part that is nerve and they can bleed and cause them pain... When you do it and she is good praise her :)) I hope this helps

I have two dogs my Corgi doesn't like his feet touched but he is a big baby :))
Get nail trimmers that are designed for dogs. Check to make sure the clippers are sharp. Start at the tip of the nail and cut off a small amount at a time. Do not cut the quick! Be extra careful when cutting dark nails.
before you try to trim, start by touching her paws, massage them, get her used to them being handled by you for a couple of days, do this apx 4 times a day. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Use a pair of human clippers to begin with, trim the very sharp tip, no more.
Doing it this way will build confidence in yourself and your puppy for regular grooming without stress or pain.
