How many times can a chihuahua give birth?
NEVER ... unless she has CH before her registration name and all her health clearances AND the Chihuahua stud owners are salivating over her.
Why do you want to know? You're not planning on breeding your chihuahua, are you?
if he stop for birthing he should stop
A person that cares about the well being of a breeding female, will maybe breed her 5 times, if she is in great health and a good producer and is a good mother to her babies and finally if she produces nice pups. If it is some in breeding for the money it is possible that a female be bred 2 times a year from age 1 yr till about 8yrs. Depending on the size of the female she could have between 2-5 pups. If you didn't want people to assume, you should've made that damn clear in the original question.
Now, hypothetically, she could get pregnant & give birth each time she goes in heat. However, surviving the pregnancy and birth is another matter.
Well people are very concerned abou backyard breeding so if you didnt want people to ask or comment abou that you should have explained... because the first thing I thought when I saw the question was ''oh nooooo! not another person trying to breed! '' -thats just a little tib bit for next time.
So anyway as for your question im guess anytime she goes in heat but a good breeder wouldnt breed no more then once or twice a year.
6-12 times during their life.
