How can I stop my dog from following me?
I love my dog but he follows me everywhere if I leave he waits by the door..if im in the bathroom he has to sit in there..right now he is looking right at me...he is 4 but still acts like a baby how can I help him be come independent

How could you say no to that face?? :) Train him to sit and stay then use the command when he is bugging you.
i would train him to go lay down. the old saying you cant teach old dogs new tricks is false.
Why is it a problem having your dog around you? Well if it is really serious he might have separation anxiety which you should discuss with your vet or trainer.
Oh, I know how annoying that can be. I have an 11 month old doing that, and she doesn't seem to "get it" that sometimes she is in the way and has to move. She will do the same things: wait outside the bathroom or bedroom. She comes and checks on me at nite with her wet sloppy nose. SNIFF SNIFF n I wake up.
