my dog loves to eat snow when hes out specially if its fresh .. tonight i took him out and came back home and he is drooling a long, never happend before, could snow b the reason??
Agreed, it could be nausea. Dog's tend to drool and lick their lips a lot when they're nauseated.
If you're dog is acting nauseous (drooling, licking lips, less active, depressed acting) you can actually give him some pepto bismol. The dosage is ONE teaspoon for every 20 pounds every 4 to 6 hours.
My dog eats snow at will when its on the ground its ok no harm will be done beside its part of nature and its something different to them.
Possibly nausea? All my dogs wind up vomiting when they eat snow .... I discourage it .
