How much would it cost me to take my dog to the vet I think

If indeed that the dog has a stroke the best thing for the dog would be to put it down!! I have seen dogs dragged through life after a stroke and it is not pleasant nor is it a life!!

You can ask to spread the bill to pay it off, and explain your situation but respect it by keeping up with payments!!

EDIT

Thumbs down, they must be from the people who like to see and enjoy animals suffering!!
It depends on the vet. And i don't think they will charge you if there's nothing wrong. I know of some that are extremely expensive, and some that are relatively cheap. but if you really think there is something wrong with your dog, you wouldn't care how expensive it is as long as it gets better.
depending on where you live, from 25 - 50 for an exam. X-rays can cost about 35-50 each. Call your veterinarian and ask for prices, they can give you that information over the phone. there is no set price ... some vets charge more and some charge less .. the base appointment fee is 44 dollars. if you are visiting for an emergency, it is 88 dollars.
Have you tried calling the vet and asking them? A phone call is free, at least .. and they should give you an estimate. I don't think there's an average price but I think general checkups are like $ 100. Again, doesn't hurt to ask a vet near you because prices here may differ from prices there, as they can set their own prices .
It varies, there is no concrete price. There is generally a regular examination fee, I believe at my Vet it's around $ 35. Then there are whatever procedures are done to determine the problem & medications if needed. Call them & ; ask for an estimation.
Sunday will cost way more ... tomorrow will cost less, but he may have had a seizure ... keep him quiet, call the advice line at the 24 hr vet, and they will want to see him for sure .. probably $ 200 or so for the visit
You'd have to ask your vet that ... every vet's different and they all charge differently.
Call the vet and ask .... your dog is a family member and if money is tight you shouldn't have a dog.
Take him to the vet, anyway. A dog is your responsibility.
That completely depends. Call your vet and ask.
