ok i have pets, for some odd reason my house is infested with fleas! i think i got them when i brung in used furniture.but i have tried everything possible. i have tried flea drops (the ones you put between the shoulder blades) powder the spray and flea dips and baths. now my cats have the worse case of fleas i have seen my poor jack russell ain't sleeping well because of all the scratching and my poor border collie is gnawing her skin off (i mean literally all you see is scabs and blood)! nothing i mean nothing is working i cant sleep at night knowing my pets are being eaten alive by fleas. any suggestions? im afraid my pets are now gonna have tapeworms and thats can be costly, so any deworming tips will also help too.
buy three things 1: capstar (you can get this from your vet or online) 2: frontline or advantage (again, you can get this from a vet, a local pet store, or online. I find it to be cheaper online) 3: home flea spray (something that wont be harmful to your pets)
Give each of your pets a bath and give them the prescribed dose of capstar (this is a flea pill that will kill all fleas and egg within 30 minutes. It only last for 24 hours though. The next day you need to apply the frontline or advantage to all of your pets. Make sure to spray your carpet and furniture with the flea spray. Vacuum EVERYTHING! make sure afterward that you dump your bag or canister outside. Try spraying around the outside of the house as well and maybe think about getting something for the yard. If it is the furniture that brought them in, make sure you spray them well and then vacuum them afterwords.

One adult flea can lay 50 eggs in one night ... the eggs develop, hatch in to worm like larvae, pupate then hatch into adults.
You need a de flea fogger, a spray will be no good now.
Look in to house treatments. Treat your house, then give the animals a flea pill, it kills all fleas and eggs on them in 24 hours, then if they have drops on already-they go back to working after wards.
Take all the animals out, get your house bombed, get flea medication for all animals and use it. I would use comfortis, its a pill that's given after a meal and my dog is allergic to fleas and this is the only thing that works.

sounds like you have done everything to avoid looking after the problem properly by getting all the animals in the house treated on proper veterinary flea medications. If you donnot spend the money and get this done correctly you will be needing to go to the veterinarian for lots of antibiotics to cure the secondary skin infections brought on by the poor poor poor poor animals scratching and biting themselves to death. If you cannot even provide basic care for all these animals, you should not have so many. And yes ALL of your animals have worms now too, and you are going to get them. hahaha. The longer you wait the bigger your bill is. As I sit in my flea free house with my 4 animals, I shall think of you and picture the fleas biting you to death until you buck up and be responsible enough to look after the basics.
