The best groomers learn their skills by apprenticing under an excellent groomer. Some people go to grooming school and then start their own grooming business. Others kind of learn on their own through the use of books, youtube and dvds. As far as requirements, most p [laces do not require any licensing besides a business license. Like dog trainers, groomers really do not need any credentials in order to ply their skills.
