is it normal for a rat terrier ot have her nose dry? i just recently realized she was a rat terrier by looking at pictures and the description suits how she is. hyper, watch dog, loving, protective ect .. I just took her to get all of her shots today and tested for heart worm (results were negative).
shes 7 months old and also has not gone into heat yet. although my other older dog (male) keeps trying to hump her at night so idk if it could mean shes going to soon. i already bought diapers. she likes to lay against people or my other dog he doesnt mind he loves his new buddy. (idk wut he is hes a big dog possibly a mix of a german shepherd)
When dogs are asleep or sick they have dry noses other than that they should be wet .
A lot of dogs have dry noses so its nothing to worry about but if You are still worried call the vet and ask.
