My dog is going to be put down and I was wondering just before she went to sleep, could I give her some chocolate? Would it be that bad for her, if she was going to die in a just a few moments. She used to always try and get our food from us when we had anything nice, we never gave her any but she might rip open a bag and take some sometimes and we would come down the stairs and find her with a ripped bag and our food all chewed.
Why don't you go out and buy a whole box of chocolates and you can both sit and enjoy!!!
I would if it were my dog but don't give her too much b/c chocolate makes dogs hearts pump faster and if she is old then just give her a little just to make sure she wont get a heart attack.
Why is your dog being put down?
If its because she is old and sick? If thats the case then a little chocolate before she goes is not a big deal.
The second she is about to be put down, sure.
