i have a 9 month old female puppy, she is spayed but almost everyday she runs away it is VERY frustrating, i call her and she ignores me, so i have to chase her until i catch her, or my neighbors catch her, it is very embarrassing, and why does she run away? i play with her every day and she gets plenty of exercise, yesterday she ran away 4 times, our fence has a lot of holes that we cant's repair, we don't want to spend a large amount of money on 'invisible fences' how do i teach her to not run away?

It's called * training * and * supervision *
She ignores you because you haven't TRAINED her to listen.
She may "know what it means" but that in no way means she is trained.
Quit leaving her outside alone and free if she can't be trusted
I agree with HB B. .. There may be stress in the house, are there any other weird things? If not keep an eye out just to make sure ;) good luck
