I made a mistake and my puppy got into the in kitchen trash which had some bacon in it. The vet said to feed him some chicken and rice to calm his stomach down, but do I feed him chicken with brown or white rice? I have both. Thanks. Vet already left for the day about 30 minutes ago.
Although normally we disagree with white rice as a filler in dog food and brown is better, in this instance I believe the vet want's you to use the white because it lacks the non-digestible fiber the brown rice has. I'd like Veterinarian confirmation on that though. Anybody?
Boiled white rice and boiled chicken with no seasonings.
You can use brown rice.
