Shes a german shepherd/Great pyreneese mix!!! SHE hates strangers and will bite someone, shes over protective and attacks other dogs she hates, shes awfully trained and is just soooooo aggressive towards everyone and everything, I didn't know she was soooooooooooooo aggressive with other dogs, so I got a Labrador male puppy. She attacked him by the neck as soon as she saw him, now Barney my new puppy is living in the hallway and Silvia is attacking the door and Barney is depressed and I got to sleep in the hallway with him tonight unless my mom sleeps in the basement with Silvia, my mom can't leave the german shepherds sight or she barks and attacks her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! HELP ME PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AWFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i know u probably are sad that your dog is so aggressive. i have a german shepherd saint bernard mix and she's pretty protective too. she doesnt attack other dogs unless they attack her first and she only barks and growls at people she senses is bad. so the best thing that u could probably do is put her up for adoption. i know thats the last thing i would want to do. they might even put her down if she's too aggressive towards them. I wouldnt want to give my dog up but if you cant train her to calm down then your're definitly going to have to give her up for adoption. I Hope I Helped you!
What bullshit. You didn't train or socialize your dog and now you got a cute puppy, so out goes the old dog. That fairy tale about giving him to a good homes is so transparent it's disgusting.

In 8 hours you found her a new home?! You wanted to GET RID OF HER so you could keep the puppy. You wrote, "Her husband is also a professional dog trainer." I hope it's not pitbulls where she's used as bait after they duct tape her mouth shut. You were looking for an excuse, you got it. Shame on you!

The fact that you know she will bite someone and attacks other dogs tell me that she has displayed aggressive behavior in the past. So why did you bring in a puppy knowing this? It's rather irresponsible for you and your mother to have brought in another dog when neither of you have taken responsibility for the dog you already own.
Right now the best thing to do is return the new Labrador puppy to it's breeder and explain the situation. Then take Silvia to a dog behaviorist and start working with her issues.
Call a rescue group that specialize in re training dogs that have aggression issues, they will try to re train her but if they are not successful, they will have to put her down.
Sounds like a case of people getting a dog that was not the right kind for them, no training and the dog has become the leader in this family. End result of people getting a dog like this and not training it properly is the poor dog will most likely be put down.

I hope you will either train the lab pup or re home it before any bad habits show up.
Sorry .. but you HAVE to put your dog down, give it away, or give the new puppy away. Its your problem you didn't deal with this situation when the aggressive dog was a puppy! They dont train themselves you know! Thats what you get for being a lazy, uncaring owner! Dogs arent like this naturally! So id say your only options are giving the new puppy up, the aggresive dog up, or the aggressive dog being put down
I would see if a trainer will work with her, otherwise she needs to be put down, no one will take that dog and a shelter will put her down anyways. I she gets out and attacks someone or their dog its a lawsuit on your hands. You created her, you didn't train her or socialize her that makes it YOUR fault.
get a pet trainer immedately. my dog does the same thing but has calmed down a bit though. but she is too dangerous to really keep though. you could try muzzling her when the pup is around. but the best suggestion to humanely put her to sleep unless you find a good dog trainer.
