If you were in a situation where you had to choose (and there are NO other options) between killing a human or your dog, who's life would you save?
You do not know ANYTHING about the human. NOTHING. There is no age barrier. Child, teen adult .... makes no difference. You have NO choices other than human or your dog.
If you choose to save your dog how do you rationalize your decision?
If you choose to save a human explain your rationalization also.
I find it strange how many say our lives are more important than dogs' simply because we are more intelligent, but are we? Dogs have short lives but usually enjoy every moment of it, humans burn fossil fuels, murder, rape, pillage etc. so in a way we will kill our dogs sooner or later.
Although thousands of our ancestors died to make us top of the food chain I still cling to the legend of the Mantle which in short states that: All life is precious.
I would choose the Dog.
Hmm .. you know ive thought of this question before .. i dont really know. I'd feel bad for shooting a human because they have a family and stuff but i'd feel bad for shooting a dog because, in my eyes, they are of equal importance to humans. sooo i dont know ... what would you do? either way, youre killing a life sooo its a tricky situation ... but im an animal lover. i love animals wayyyyyyy more than people sooo hahah i think you know which side im leaning toward .....(;

I would choose my dogs over most people. My dogs are forgiving of everything where as people tend to hold grudges.
