Can I take my puppy out?

She has her first set of shots, I'm not planning on walking her yet. But can I take her out of the house and just carry her around??
YES take her out, let her walk, let her meet. It's very important to their social well being as an adult! She is fine after that first shot.

The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) recently released a position paper ( http://AVSABonline.org/) outlining the importance of early puppy socialization, preferably before the puppy reaches 12 to 16 weeks old. The AVSAB encourages owners to take their pets to puppy classes as early as possible, even before puppies have completed their full vaccination series.

Yes you can. Where did you get this new puppy at? Thats great i'm happy for you. Have you named her yet. I understand your concern about taking her outside and having her around other dogs because of what happened, but I think that is will be ok because in regards to what happened its not a common thing that usually happens to dogs if you know what I mean .. I'm happy for you.:) happy days
I myself just got two new puppies. Congrats. Ask your local vet on their opinion, but it is good to take your puppy everywhere once ok to by the vet. It helps the dog see the world so he/she won't be scared when they grow up. Make sure to socialize and get your dog used to the car and other things.
Yes, I would watch what kind of contact she has with other pets till she is fully vaccinated. You also want to be mindful of ticks and lyme disease depending on where you live till she has those vaccines also. Our rule at our animal hospital on the east coast is anything over 40 degrees and no heavy snow cover and ticks are out. You'll also want to keep her out of drinking any stagnant mucky water. But, yes it's fine.:)
For short periods of time should be fine. Plus its good to have her experienced to the outside world as soon as possible. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Yeah walking her isn't a good idea yet, I'm glad you recognize that! Too many people have no clue about dog care.: P
of corse you can as long as your not like making her walk or if you have made her walk around in the house because that might put her in pain
, as yes as long as she has had all her shots.

don't just carry her around pop her on a lead.

wen in open spaces give free running but keep her under Control.
