I have a poodle maltese mix, and he know how to lay down, sit, roll over, speak {bark}, shake hands. And thats it. Any other cool trick I can teach him?
There are hundreds of tricks you can teach your dog. Just check out youtube. There is a cute one about teaching a dog to pray.
I taught one of by dogs to fall over and put his feet in the air when I point my finger at him and say BANG. My other dog also knows to sneeze on command. I just went through lots of repetition with them and lots of cookies to reward the behavior once they started to do what I asked.
Our dog (border collies/1/4 o austrailian sheperd) knows all of your tricks and; Wave, Allllmost crawl, High five (its easy to teach High Five and Wave once they know Shake. Put your hand a little ways away from him and tell him to wave. They should know the hand signal for high five and soon they will realize that 'high fiving' with out hitting you is 'waving'. Its an awesome trick.) I'm DYING to teach them 'sneeze' and 'say your prayers'. LOL! : D
