Our two small dogs don't have accidents in the house, don't bark excessively, don't beg for food. They sleep in the bathroom, and pretty much sleep all day. We do have a pee pad in the bathroom, because we are not home for 8 hours sometimes. One of them is dog-reactive with certain dogs, but it isn't a problem. We make them sit/wait before someone enters are house. They do give the occassional jump. Would you say that they are well-behaved? Our family says that we have horrible dogs, and that they would never want them. I don't get why.
The only indicator that they would be misbehaved dogs by what you have said so far is the jumping ... I know you say occasionally, but a dog should NEVER jump on a human. The only reason I say this is a child or senior could be seriously injured by this if they are large dogs and anybody could be scratched. Many people get frustrated by dogs jumping, even if it is only "occasionally" and nails are NOT comfortable on human skin. I am not sure by what you mean by "dog-reactive." Please elaborate on that and WHY your family thinks they are misbehaved, whether you agree or not. This question seems very biased.

ADD: I would clarify to your family that, just because your dog may not like certain dogs ... does not mean he will bite a human. Dog aggression and human aggression are two very separate things that should not be bundled into one category.
Last ADD I promise: I would start correcting the dog aggression on walks, he needs to know that you do not like him acting like that. Correct him as soon as you see him start to get riled up. A firm "no" and a quick pop on his leash will get the point across.
I couldnt have a dog that cant be trusted with other dogs myself but other than that they sound well behaved to me. I dont believe in crating them either. Whats the point in having a dog if you are going to shut them up in a box all day. Mine has the run of the house when we are not home but she doesnt have pee pads, she is perfectly capable of holding it for up to 10 hours if she has to.

That be's itself and is either messy or tidy .. Thats a good dog who just cant help but be what it is .. some humans are against the way dogs act .. but if you were a dog ... you wouldnt understand why a weird looking two legged thing was shouting at you just for chewing up a pillow ... Its what you do on toydog day??

Your dogs should be crated, not in a room where they can go in your house, that is a bad habit. A well behaved dog listens, doesn't go in the house, has manners.
