I have 2 french bulldogs. I put k9 advantix on them yeaturday morning. (Now that ive read up on it, i know know to NEVER use that stuff again) One of my dogs is fine, but the other one is freaking out. Last night he was frantic, running around seeminly lost, nervous, licking his feet obsessively. He would run from one room to another, jump in his bed, jump out, jump on the couch, walk in circles. So I called the emergency vet and the lady told me to bathe him in dawn. I did this, and this morning he is better, but still a bit wacky.
Will he be okay? Is there anything more i can do?
You did good by calling your vet. Bathing is exactly what you needed to do.
He should be fine. I'm very sorry htis happened.
He will be fine now, he had an allergic reaction to the Advantix, it is common. Your quick action in calling the vet probably saved him, good for you.
