Anyone know of any people that have yorkshire terrier puppies for sale in or around the albany, ny area?
I found my rescue Yorkie, Benny Boy, on Petfinder.com almost four years ago and brought the 18 ounce pup home on Christmas eve.
He is just a great dog friend to all in our family!
He is neither "yappy" or hyper, just a chill companion that likes to go where ever we go.
That includes hiking, camping and kayaking!
Try some of the rescue sites on Petfinder.com and also the breed specific sites for Yorkie rescues and good luck!
Nice choice. I have one but they are really hyper! I got mine from a breeder. You can usually google something like:
Albany, Ny Breeders and find a trusted website. But, once I called one and it transferred to 911! I suggest going to a Pound or Shelter if you can't find any.
Check the shelters first. You might find a dog you like even if it's not a yorkie. Look for a reputable breeder. Avoid anything that might be a puppy mill since those puppies usually have behavioral, emotional, and health issues.
