I already have a dog that is 8 months that I have had since July and she's already trained because she's very smart and I put hard work into it. My cousin got stuck with my uncle's puppy somehow and she doesn't take care of it because its not hers and she wants nothing to do with it. If she drops it off on my doorstep and leaves, what can I do to talk my parents into keeping it? Or would there be a better way then dropping it off and leaving? Its sooo cute and I want it. Helpp. (:
You should be very honest with them, explain the situation to them and ask their permission to keep the pup. If they think having another puppy in the house is a little too much they may decide to help you find the dog a good home. Abide by their wishes as it will be them who have the additional vet bills, food and other things a pup will need.
Just sit down with your parents and have a heart to heart and see what they say. I wouldn't suggest that your cousin just "drops" it off, b/c what if your parents say "no?" Then you will end up having to take the poor thing to the shelter. Just talk to them, I'm sure they'll understand:) I hope that this helps and Good Luck:)
