Is really giving human food bad to dogs I mean when I was going up we gave human food to our dogs and they lived a good life pass 17 yr n they were really healthy n I know about no chocolate but other stuff n the meat that we have is in some of the dog food anyways

I give me dog table scraps and stuff all the time. You just have to look out for things like garlic and onions.

The food we eat is not the same as it is in dog food.

People cook their meat, they put sauces and spices and salt on them. Some people put sugar in their food. All of which are not healthy for a dog to eat.

Raw meat is great for a dog, the occasional chicken breast, but high sodium content in a food can potentially damage a dogs liver and make them ill.

Obesity is also a huge problem in pets these days, which is caused by feeding various table scraps, and crappy commercial dog food.

Some things like meat are fine. I only feed my dog people food. He gets a raw diet. Fruits and veggies for treats are fine. Just don't feed any grapes, raisins, chocolate, walnuts, garlic, onions and macadamia nuts.

Avoid the greasy, spicy foods humans eat.

some human foods are not too bad for dogs in moderation, but feeding them does encourage them to beg. And even foods that are "safe" may cause pancreatitis

Definitely don't feed dogs avocado, that can kill them.
