I think my dog is inbread ( dunno how to spell it sorry)?
Ok I have a boxer he is two years old and I know boxers are hyper but I'm sure there is something wrong .... He crys all the time even when I'm peting him he crys runs back in forth always runing around and crying his eyes are always watering he eats his poop he knows to go to the bathroom outside but he goes in the house when he feels like it...he eats everything always drinking water .... And don't listen I have a apt for him but just wondering what anyone thinks or been through this with a boxer....
It sounds like he's untrained not inbred.
I know a bit about dogs and dog behavior. That does not sound normal. I know when they eat their own poop that means there is something missing in their diet. Sorry I can't remember which vitiman it is. The rest of it really sounds like he's in pain. I know vets are expensive....but I think this is one of those times when you really need a vet's advice.
A lot of breeders inbreed their dogs, to keep strains and to intensify characteristics. But when its done by people who dont know precisely what their doing the consequences can make unstable dogs. If you bought your dog from a 'backyard breeder' or a puppy mill then you quite possibly could have a badly bred dog, which is not that uncomon. I know that a lot of people breed dogs for money and that causes deterioration in dog breeds. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
I dont know much about Boxers, ( I have a pitbull and two minni aussies) But the behavior dosnt sound normal to me.
Next time you buy a dog ask to see the dame and the sire to see how they act.
And the only advice I can give you is to take him on a long walk EVERY DAY. It helps get rid of excess energy and helps the Leader (you) and follower (dog) relationship. Also training cant do any harm.
People inbreed all the time: linebred/outcrosses..it is to hold onto certain traits and when done properly by reputable breeders there are no real issues. NOW what I see is a 2yr old that has behaior issues or maybe sick..either so talk to a trainer if it isNOT health related
I would consult your vet for these issues, some of it may be training but some sounds like health problems.
