Tie her to the table leg or shut her in another room when you have visitors.

So put her on a leash before you open the door, and make her sit. When she tries to jump up, use the leash and collar to stop her and put her back into the sit. Repeat until she stays sitting when someone comes in.

You say your dog knows commands but doesn't listen to you. She doesn't listen to you because she doesn't see you as pack leader. I am assuming you are quite young and your dog has looked to another family member as pack leader.

wow ! this one i know . like kids they must mind you and it will always hurt your feelings far more than theirs. have you tried what i call shock value ?like an unruley child-a lil swat on the butt comes as such a shock and surprise that now you HAVE their attention. with a dog, give the nose a lil zap with a rubber band while saying NO ! usually that message is real clear in 30 min. - theyll associate that word with a future zap !

On top of making her sit when company is coming in the door, if she jumps after that tell the guest to hold their knee up to her chest when she jumps. This doesn't allow her to jump and hold on like she wants to so eventually she will get the point that she cannot jump.
