it depends...... I recomend rescuing one from a shelter those breeders have lots of health issues
The purchase price from a reputable breeder would start easily at $1200 - $2000 for a pet quality health tested puppy. Purchase price is only the beginning in getting any dog regardless of breed & only a small amount to be spent over their lifetime.

Avoid anyone who is selling from Classifield lists, most of them are BYBs trying to make money without thinking of puppy's health. If you must get a puppy, look through the directory:

If you aren't able to meet where the litter is at, at the breeder's home or kennel and meet up at a store or elsewhere.... that is suspicious.
