About the whole AKC papered Dogs... do you know?
i got a male and female AKC pomeranians. The people signed the papers to pass the dogs over to me. Right now my female is prego.. but i didint pay the $15 to have the Akc papers put in my name.
Do i have to do that? Can i still get the puppies akc papers even though the paretns akc papers arent in my name?
also how do i get the puppies akc paperes?
how long does it take for them to be sent to me?
YOU need to register the dogs in your name before you can get a litter registration. And if the dogs were not 2 yrs old, tested for genetic problems and have a championship title, they should NOT be bred.
If you don't know the basics, I suggest you neuter him now, and spay her too. A reputable breeder will have EVERYTHING in place in advance before any dogs are bred.
Both parents have to be registered in your name AT THE TIME OF BREEDING in order for you to register the litter. I just love it when BYBs get what they deserve
No, they cannot be registered. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
I can't wait until he posts several months for now, on litter #2, only just discovering they're on limited reg.
You need to register them yourself, and that needed to be done long before now. Do you have a legal right to breed these dogs? What do your ownership papers say? Most reputable breeders sell dogs with a limited registration and spay requirement, meaning you can't legally breed them. They often include a clause that says they can take ownership of the dog and puppies if you breed them.
The bottom line is that you can't register this litter, and you may not be able to legally register any litters if the AKC papers and contract you have don't give you permission to.
