Okay so yesterday i forgot to get dogfood at the supermarket, and my dog was really hungry so i dug in my fridge and found a carton of eggs. I neeeded something to hold him over so i could go to the store and get him food. So i grabbed an egg and started up my frying pan and made him a SCRAMBLED egg. Since i thought a fried egg wouldnt be as tasty. Well anyway, the next morning (today) he seems to have a stomach ache. Is there any way to help him? If you dont know what a pomaranian is, they look like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomeranian_ (dog) So if there's any dog-gone happy people out there, i'd like to know if you could help me out. Thanks Guys. Bow Wow For Now!
To BUSY to run out to the store because your busy playing Video games online so make your dog sick!!! Hope you have plenty of paper towels from the supermarket to clean up the diarrhea !!!!
The warning word is "Fried"
I'm going to guess it was margarine and not butter in the pan.
Margarine is made (most brands) from cheap vegetable oil.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com Go have a spoon full and let us know how you feel in 30 minutes.
(Don't really do it.:-D)
Eggs are a fine supplement but boiled or cooked in the microwave with a splash of milk is better.
Generally it's a bad idea to give pets people food unless it's fruit and veggies like carrots and apples. The eggs definitely gave your dog a belly ache. Make sure you get the food and soon. Maybe try giving him a bland diet of cooked rice and ground meat.
i hope you didnt put milk in it. Dogs can not have milk it makes their stomach upset and sore . scrambled egg for dogs should just be egg and nothing else.
you can give him pepto bismol ... you can also give a dog canned pumpkin ... no spices in it, just plain pumpkin ... this settles the stomach and helps with the runs.
best to you
i would call the vet hope hes ok:)
Eggs was a very bad idea, especially if you put milk in it, because it isn't a natural thing for dogs to eat and really upsets their stomachs. Though it is table food you shouldn't give your dog, you would have been better off giving him hamburger or hotdog, something more doglike. For now just watch to see if he vomits or has diarrhea, don't let him eat grass if he attempts it. Call your vet if he stays like this for more than about a day, it should pass through his system. And go buy dog food please.
