I have a 2 year old golden retriever. Yesterday he was just fine. Today he threw up about 4 times and is very lethargic. The vomit it not white/foamy or yellow bile. He seems to be throwing up his food, and he's not eating his dinner. He isn't having diarrhea/bloody diarrhea. His vomit is not bloody either. I'm very worried about him. I'm only 14 I've been trying to tell my dad to take him to the vet but he's not listening to me. He's just saying "He'll get better tommorrow." I wish I had a driver's license!!!
Your dog does need to see a vet. Is he drinking water? Try feeding him some chicken broth. That will help keep him hydrated and get him a little nutrition. If he throws that up, he could have a bowel obstruction. in which case, he won't get better without a vet's help.
Is there any chance he could have gotten into something like decon or anything else that could make him sick?
Do whatever you can to convince your dad he needs to see a vet. It's very important.

Good luck!
The only thing that can help your dog is your dad taking him to the vet. Unless your dad is a vet or a physic then he doesnt know if he will get better tomorrow. Try to make him as comfortable as possable and make sure he is still drinking water if he isnt he needs to go to the vet very soon as he could get dehydrated.
Hope that helps goodluck:)
phone up the vet and describe the symptoms down the phone. Then if they say he needs to be seen you can put your dad on the phone to them and let them explain to him. Then maybe he 'll listen.
sounds like it could be an intestinal infection or a blockage.
did he get into anything?
is he still pooping ok?
watch him closely.
no appetite is bad.
boil chicken and rice and see if he eats
Give him plenty of water.
