He is eating and drinking ok! We checked him to see if he was impacted and he's not and also treated him for worms! He sometimes acts like he feels better but then he just lays around
It's probably going to be worth having a fecal test done to see whether he does have any parasites. Could be Giardia, or other protozoa, even if he doesn't have worms. He could also be reacting to his current diet and a switch to something completely different (ie no meat, fish, and no cereal, potato) might bring an improvement.
If you treated with Hartz brand there is a known problem with it. Put your dog on chicken and rice until the diarrhea is under control. Cook the rice until it is almost mushy. You can substitute chicken broth for some of the water needed to cook the rice which will add more flavor. Canned pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling, will help control diarrhea. If your dog isn't better by Monday call the vet.
there are so many things that could be wrong with your dog. sometimes if you just changed his food, that could be a reason too.
