I asked this question before but now with better clearer pictures. He is 11 yearls old. What exactly is it? We were washing the dog and cutting his hair and we discovered this.

my dog has had a few skin tags which are simple moles. they often fall off if left alone and they do not itch.
if yours is itchy, its probably some kind of tumor and even those sometimes fall off if left alone. but itching can lead to infection.

moles are not itchy, tumors are.
My dog had the same thing.
We ended up having to have the vet put a rubber band around it.
Sounds cruel right?
But they gave him some numbing creme & about a week later he ate it,
rubber band & all, lol.
Anyways, this looks like the same thing,
so I think it's a tumor.
They grow pretty rapidly so i'd see your vet if I was you.

Lucky you found it now. It's not a mole, and not a 'skin tag'. That is a tumor. Get your dog to the vet, even though it's probably not cancerous.
