Has anyone read the Cesar Millan books?

I am trying to find a good book for training a puppy. The Cesar Millan books seem like good ones, but has anyone read them and found they were helpful? If you know of any better books for this, that would be just as helpful. Thanks.
I would personaly avoid his for general training, as he focuses on problem dogs. For general training I would reccomened Pat Miller/Peaceable Paws training.

Dont forget nothing can beat the socialsion of a obed class.
Cesar Millan does have a new book out called Cesar's Rules. He worked with renowned trainers, including Bob Bailey, Martin Deeley, Ian Dunbar, Joel Silverman, and Mark Harden to compile the best training methods to use to train a dog.

C Milan is a moron with outdated and barbaric training methods.
Cesar Millan's methods are too harsh for all but the most difficult dogs.
