Hi i have a 1 year old male chihuahua x he only weighs 5.4kg. His dew claws are very lose and his nail grows very quickly wrapping around his claw which makes it very painful for him. I am wondering if anyones dog has had this done before and how much did it cost?

PS-I will be ringing the vet on monday its saturday afternoon here and they are not open at the moment
Well, what you're asking is any ones guess, that is; one Vet may be less expensive in removing your dogs dew claws than another. If I were you, I'd shop around and go with the least expensive Vet. I could personally tell you how to remove the dew claws, but I don't think you're up to it. I am sure there are a lot of Vets in your area, just ask around and go with the one that is cheapest. It is a smiple operation. But, there are some Vet's that are a little enthusiactic on prices, if you know what I mean. Smile. I hope that I have been of some help to you and your dog.
