New to the conformation world, and am going to be exhibiting my 7 month old pembroke welsh corgi this winter, and I need some referrals to a good place to purchase show leads and other good supplies for showing. Anyone know of any good places?

You can generally buy them from shows, lots of the bigger shows have a shop you can buy them from. It's kind of trial and error as to which one suits your dog best I think. You might need to go through a few different styles of leads (martingale, soft, check chain etc) [[[

I like 3C's personally. For show collars, the hex chains are my first choice. I like a 4 ft long, 1/4 "wide leather lead. Whatever you use, make sure the color compliments your dog well. You don't want something that will clash with his/her coat or it will detract from the dog. Presentation is everything in the show world. Remember that for you clothes as well. Wear something that will allow the outline of the dog to be seen easily without blending in but that also does not draw more attention to you than your dog.

I would start with asking your dog's breeder what leads and supplies she prefers and perhaps start with those. Your breeder can probably also recommend where to purchase, but a couple of favs are revival animal health.com , petedge.com, and show supplies only is cherrybrook.com Good luck and have fun!! The best place is at a show, foxfire leather has returned to coming to shows (at least in my area), they make the best show leads. Cherrybrook has pretty much everything you would need as far as show supplies, you can find them online as well.
The nicest leads and supplies are at the actual show, sold by the many vendors there.
