You never pick a dog based on color - you pick based on how well the dog's temperament fits with you and yours.
Also, there are 3 colors of labrador, not 5. Yellow (of which "white" is a very pale shade, just as "fox red" is a very dark shade), black, and chocolate. Those 3 only, with variations (though this "silver" nonsense is a lie, they are weimaraner mixes).
Details about what? It's your dog, your life. Figure out what kind of dog best suits you - passive, dominant - and go from there.

In all seriousness, there are only three colors of labs (yellow, black, and chocolate), and temperament varies from dog to dog, regardless of color or sex.
Um .. you dont know anything about labs do you? As everybody has pointed out, they only come in 3 colors. they are all the same breed. they will have different personalities but that has nothing to do with what color they are.
Which ever one YOU like the best ... Go for it. YOU will be the one interacting with the dog, not us .. we may like traits you don't like, so make your own choice by listening to your heart.

Dude ... A lab is a lab is a lab is a lab ........... Pick a color you like the most as they're the SAME BREED.
It's just a color, they are all great. Just remember that labs tend to have their puppy phase longer than any breed.
