Pit bull or Newfoundland (in your opinion)? Why? Thanks for all answers!
Depends what you like.
I have newfies - I don't mind spit on the ceiling, having a large vehicle to transport, I like grooming, I don't mind hair, I like the "goofy newfie" attitude.
I board pits occasionally. Sweet dogs, love the chubby cheeks and muscles. No real grooming. Fun dogs.
Depends what you want and like, these are two very different dogs.
For me its an American Pit Bull Terrier but thats a personal choice and I have lots of experience with the breed. I have little experience with Newfoundlands and would not enjoy the fur every where.
But each dog has its pros & cons and if your trying to make a decisions you will need to do lots of research as they are very different dogs and need different things.
I would say a Newfoundland as they are gorgeous and have the best personality!
If 1. Your adopting 2. You r responsible 3. You know the needs of a pitbull then get one!

Its really your choice your going to be spending the next decade of your life with the dog so its up to you to make the decision bassed on which one would fit best into you lifestyle and fit your personality
both dogs are great in my opinion ..
i prefer pit bulls, but that's because grooming isn't as hard. and i own one so i'm being bias haha.
newfoundlands are great too, but lots of hair and what not.
research the breed and go from there!
I love both, but my most favorite is the pitbull.
I raise them and train them. I also find homes for them. People know me as the pitbull lady so people often discard unwanted pitbulls at my doorstep.

Newfies have their own problems - drool, shedding, hip pain, etc. Research the breed first.
I like both breeds, but I would chose a Newf. I love them, they are such gentle giants.
