It freaken snowing right now, our steps a just sheets of ice, this sucks. Shes already slipped down thm.
My dog gives us this look that just says "you've got to be kidding me" when ever we take her out.
Does your dog give you that look or do they jump out with joy?
My english mastff LOVES the snow!! He digs his head under it like a shovel, eats it, rolls around in it and just goes to town! My german shepherd just goes out, does his business and comes back in. i dont know about my puggle since he's only 4 or 5 months but i think he'll like it. he just seems like that kind of dog.
My Cocker Spaniel loves the snow and runs around like crazy and rolls in it. It is fun to watch! He loves to catch snowballs in his mouth. My Shar Pei hates snow and tries to avoid going outside as much as possible. My Boston Terrier has to wear a coat and I am thinking he needs something for his feet because he gets so cold. He holds his little feet up in the air like they hurt.
* In fact if anyone has ever used dog boots or something for their feet, I'd like to know what they use.
I have two Shih Tzu's, Riley and Kayley and they absolutely love the snow! I also had another Shih Tzu, Hayley, she was Riley's mom and she LOVED the snow it was hard for me to get her back in the house. Riley and Kayley like to play in it and eat it, and like me to toss snow balls and they try to find them! My mom has a purebred Siberian Husky, Doreena we just rescued in April when she was about 5 months old because she wasn't getting properly fed and got really skinny by her previous owners. So I am excited to see how she will react in the snow this season!

I have three Rottweilers and they absolutely love the snow. One of them is very old and crotchety now, but show her the snow and she dashes about in it, rolls in it swallows great mouth fulls of it. It makes her act like a puppy again. They seem not to notice how cold it is, because they get so excited.
my german shepherd plops herself right in the snow and just watches cars drive by. she also bites the flying snow when my dad is snowblowing the driveway, she loves it. my chihuahua on the other hand, needs a path shoveled so he can go out. or he just poops in the house and doesnt bother asking to go out ...
My dogs LOVE snow!

Good thing, too ... we get a LOT of snow.
I worry about the icy steps, too ... especially with my Setter, because he's not the most graceful or coordinated of creatures, and is usually in such a HURRY to get outside. He's not one to be careful! The other 2 are a bit more sensible.
Aiden loved the snow last year.
Thankfully it only snows about once every ten years, so that was his first time ever seeing snow, lol.
He loved playing in it and eating it.
By the time it melted all over him, he hated it.
My Lab loves the snow ... she actually "sleds." She gets up at the top of a hill and rolls down on her belly. Haha. She loves burying her head in the snow. She was raised in Alaska just like me.:)
My Golden pup seems to like it, he jumps around and plays in it.
I have a Boxer-So basically when I let him out in the snow he will have crazy fun in it for about 5-8 minutes then he get COLD and MISERABLE so when I let him in I will see him laying next to a heater for sometimes up to 40 minutes.
My beagle LOVES the snow.

My Chihuahuas however won't go outside without their jackets on * rolls eyes *
My pitbull and my pug/dashund LOVE the snow, but only for about ten minutes when they realize how cold it is.
Well since my dog is only about 7 pounds right now, snow isn't pleasant for him. Haha ....
