how much Echinacea angustifolia i should give my dog?

My 51lbs dog has bite wounds from a dog fight, an I'm trying to find natural ways to help with inflammation an healing. The meds are making his stomach upset. He already seen a vet about the wounds, its just a waiting game now with infection meds. I was reading about Echinacea an it says that it promotes tissue regeneration and reduces inflammation. All that can hlep so I'm trying to find out what form an how much to give hem?
If the vet. gave you medication that is upsetting his stomach then give him the medication with food. This will coat his stomach so the meds won't upset his stomach. It's just like some human meds say take with food so it doesn't upset stomach. Finish the meds the vet gave you and never give your dog any natural human medication with out consulting the vet. or a holistic vet. You can easily poison your dog not knowing what you are doing.
Did you purchase it already? If you buy a tincture for children, you can follow the recommended dosage on the bottle since your dog is like the size of a kid. For kids between ages one and twelve, the dosage is usually about ten drops, three times a day. Don't use it for more than ten days in one stretch. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

You sure it's supposed to be regenerative and anti-inflammatory, though? I've only ever been aware of its function as a boost for the immune system.
I don't know, but you can give him ginger and plain yogurt for his tummy and put honey on the wounds.Mix a 50/50 solution of honey and Betadine and put it on the wounds. It really helps.
try boiling some hamburger meat/chicken with white rice

this will help settle his stomach - naturally
