my female got injured about two weeks ago and ever since she was recovering i seperated her from my male and i babyied her alot give her all the food she wanted chicken soup all the time and the male would stay in his kennel but ive notice that he is very very sad he doesnt run or anything he walks very slowly he still eats fine should i be concerned but when he goes out he goes to a corner and completly ignores me or he goes inside his house when i call him out do dogs experience favortism or could it be that he is sick

Dogs experience separation anxiety. This could result in him feeling neglected or unloved because you're not around like you used to be. Most dogs who have this condition tend to be more clingy to the owner that it thinks will leave him. There are some instances where the dog will try to become unattached so that it don't feel hurt by you paying more attention to the other dog. Hope that helped.
Yes. They do get jealous. I'd had my female mini Schnauzer for a few years and when I got my male, she ignored me. My daughter could talk to her or call her and she would respond. If I was talking to the dog, she would turn her back on me and ignored me like she couldn't hear me. It took about a month for her to get used to the new member of our family.
