do dog dig to escape?

The dog keeps digging under the fense to get out.
YES. Make sure to digproof your fences are set up a dig-proof kennel run or something for your dog or he/she will probably end up getting out. A good way to dig-proof your fencing is to dig a trench about 1 foot deep under your fencing and actually put fencing under the ground, then fill the trenches again. Or you can place bricks/cement slabs at the foot of the fence where the dog digs most but to actually put the fencing under the ground would be the best way - even though its costly.

EDIT: Another thing. Dogs often dig or try to escape when they are bored. Make sure you're playing with and excersing your dog as its breed and age requires to prevent this sort of behaviour.
Wen u say escape ya make it sound like prison, dogs usually dig all over, if ur dog is specifiaclly digging in 1 spot the yeh he probaly is trying 2 get out.biy id say now hes doin it in 1 spot bcos he knows thats were 2 get out, dogs are smart and have great memory
I don't think it's trying to escape, it's probably trying to get after something, like a dog on the other side, or a squirrel nest or something of that sort. It could possibly be trying to escape though.
Yes, be a better owner. Remember it's very hard to get through the hole once it's done. But thats only if you keep your dog out for a long time. Then when you let them in they will forget about the hole.
Yes they can but usually digging is a sign of boredom.
