Hi,
I have just received a little 8 week old Siberian husky puppy. He has brilliant ice-blue eyes and is copper and white coloured. I have no idea what to name him .. I thought I did but none of them seem right. I would love to have some name suggestions!! I don't want anything too generic - I want it to be a unique name but not too complicated either as I will be training him using his name.

I have a girl pup and I named her Shelby but if she was a boy I wanted to name him "Bounce". But that might not be appropriate for a husky. Here are some suggestions:

I can sooo relate! My poor puppy went through FOUR name changes before she got her final name at 12 weeks. It's good to know their personality first. How about a Russian name since he is a Siberian . My friend had a Siberian named Chatka which I like. It sounds like your baby is a real stunning beauty! Maybe the Russian word for "handsome" is a word that sounds nice and would make a good name. Enjoy your new puppy!

look at his personality and find words to describe it. Then go to a website for baby names and meanings and type in one of those words and see which male names come up. if you like any, write them down. if you don't put another word in and see. hopefully you'll have made a list that you can pick from and say each one to the dog and see how it goes (:
Well they say a 2 syllable name is best for training so how about Asher, Comet, Piston, Cooper i don't know when i read the question I was all full of good names and as i started typing i forgot them all ... and yes he is VERRRY cute!

Name it sterling or something else unique that has to do with his color
