The mom was a stray i bought in starving with her 7 pups could this be a result of the mother eating real food? They had firmer stool when I first got them and the mother does not seem to have any of the same problems.
Prbabaly due to the mother's diet but to be sure, call the vet and ask for advice.
Also, feed the mother dog a good quality dog food. This will give her and the pups the nutrition they all need.
The mother will need to eat a bit more than her normal since she is feeding babies.
Get the dog food now.
Make sure she has plenty of fresh water at all times too.
And call the vet about the pups. Diarrhea in young puppies can be serious. They cannot tolerate health issues like adult dogs.
Only if you want them to live. Diarrhea is life threatening in such young puppies. HOWEVER, you do realize that on a liquid diet, stools will be soft and not formed, and now they're getting to the point where mom may not need to stimulate them to defecate, so it's possible what you're seeing is normal. HOWEVER (again), if you're not sure, take them. They should have been wormed once already, so parasites may also be an issue
well first of all at 3 weeks they should be with their mother ... im not sure if they are according to your information ... diarrhea could be from eating somethin wrong ... but if your gut says they arent okay, take them to the vet.
with puppies that young i would take them to the vet. it may not be a big deal but you never know with puppies! i hope everything goes well!
