Is it normal for a puppy to never had an accident in the hou

I got him a week ago and he has never had an accident in the house. I take him out every 2-3 hours and he sleeps in his crate for about 7 hours straight and then plays in it for an hour before I wake up. (I hear him throwing his toys around which sometimes wakes me up) He knows where his potty area is, I was wondering do you think he will ever have an accident in the house if he hasnt yet?
Very small puppies can not hold it thats why you take them out so often. Taking them out so often gets them used to going outside. Housbreaking done. Congrats you learned the secret.
It's not outside the normal range if the owner attends to the puppy properly, which it sounds like you're doing. Congratulations. He probably will have an accident at some point before he gets to be a year old, but probably not often. Perhaps the fact that he had never been inside before you got him has something to do with this. If he lived outside, that's the only place he ever peed and he learned early that outside is where you pee. My dog was very much like yours. She only had half a dozen "accidents" before she was completely reliable by about 6 months old.
Don't jinx it. Housebreaking issues are usually because of owner error. Just sounds like you're doing it right. Don't make the mistake of easing up because he appears to be housebroken. Just keep doing what you're doing
If you take him out so often, it's obvious why he wouldn't have accidents. You probably already have him house trained, though I wouldn't suggest acting like it, yet. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
