A lady was over buying one of our chickens and she saw my German Shepherd. I told him to come here and sit and he did, like usual. She was astounded at how well he responded to me and asked if I could help her make her dog do the same thing and would pay me. I said okay but I don't know how much I should charge her. She's not a friend, just someone wanting their dog to be a bit calmer.
Maybe $ 5-15 an hour, that way she will be happy to use you because you are affordable, and want you back for this reason:)
You are not a professional. Nor do you have insurance or a business license. You have no training experience beyond training your own dog. What would you do if this dog of her turns out to be be aggressive? Dominant? How do you know you can even work with this animal, that you'll be ABLE to train it?
PROFESSIONAL trainers with years of experience and the required paperwork for running a business can charge anywhere from $ 30 - $ 90 per lesson hour.
If i where you i wouldn't charge her a cent, just offer her tips and advice without guarantee it will work. Or point her to a professional.
Well. My trainers normally only wanted like $ 70 or $ 60, and they trained my dog's extremely well. so it kinda depends how much training their doing to your dog or how often they do it.
