fun games to play with your dog and homemade toys?

anyone knows any fun games to play with your dog and homemade toys?
You can try to teach it a new trick or go further with its training. Any time spent with your dog is considered a bonding time between the two of you so might as well do something that will benefit you and your dog more in the long run.

I recommend that you watch my 4 minute dog training video at http://www.youtube.com/watch ? v=ncUgmH4HZ ... which will give you important tips to keep in mind as you train or teach your dog a new trick.

Enjoy the bonding time with your dog while training - this builds his confidence and makes him more enthusiastic with the training. - Hope my advice helps!
Some games that you can play with your dog are:

- Hide And Seek, believe it or not.

- The game "Find It" where you hide a treat or your dog's favorite toy outside or in the house.

- The game "Jumping Jacks" where you can create jumps from broomsticks, scraps of wood, boxes, and other household items and teach your dog the cue "over."

- The game "Sit Around The World" where a few human players sit in a large, safely enclosed circle with each of their dogs sitting in front of their owner, and the next person in the line calls your dog and tells him to sit .

- The game "Musical Sits" where dogs and their handlers walk to the music on top of space rug sample squares set evenly around a large sit with one fewer rug than there are dog/handler teams. When the music stops, all players ask their dogs to sit. The dog that doesn't get a rug is out. You can also play this game in an advanced version where there chairs involved. Set up a double line of chairs back to back, with one fewer chair than dog/handler teams, and put rug sample squares in a large circle around the chairs, one rug per team. Have the dogs and handlers walk to the music outside the circle of rugs, and when the music stops, players must proceed to the next available rug , tell their dogs to sit on, and then sit in an available chair.

- The game "Diving For Dogs" which is similiar to "bobbing for apples." Slice several hot dogs into an equal number of discs, and put 2 to 12 inches of water in a pan or tub, drop one hot dog's worth of discs into the tub or pan, and be sure that your dog is watching you when you do so. You can also compete with a friend and her dog. With your stopwatch in hand, say, "Ready, set, go! "and start the stopwatch. On" go ", release the dog and encourage him to get the hot dogs out of the water and eat them. The dog who eats the most hot dog pieces the fastest wins. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

- The game "My Dog Can Do That" which is a commercially produced board game that you play with your dog. The game consists of three decks of cards - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Any dog with basic good manners training can play. Each card has a behavior described on it that you have to try to get your dog to do - from simple "sit on verbal a cue" from the beginner deck, to "pick up a toy and drop it into a basket "in the advanced deck. If you don't succeed, the next player in line - if she thinks her dog can perform the behavior - says," My dog can do that! "

There are many, many more dog games that you can play with your dog, but I'd be here all night typing them, lol.
Well one of my dogs LOVES to play with plastic bottles ..... we put the caps on really tight and she tries to chew them off, but she likes to throw the bottle up in the air and chase it ... it is so funny. or we take it and toss it and she goes after it, just like a ball or other toy.

Oh yeah, and we tie up old socks and our dogs use it to play tug of war.
All the socks (that have holes in them) turn into dog toys. We tie them into knots and use them as tug-ropes and balls to chase.
