I just read that a human can contact worms from a dog? Is this true?
http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm? ... I wonder how big of a percentage of people get worms from their dogs. Wow I did not know this ...
Worms can enter your body by many different ways. Hookworm larvae enter through the skin, like your feet when you walk around outside barefoot. Children can easily get roundworms just from playing outside. Eggs can live in the soil for a long time. They make mud pies, then put their fingers in their mouth. Playing with poop is not the only way to get worms.

The majority of the people that get worms from their dogs, probably don't know how to wash their hands. Good hygiene and teaching your kids good hygiene, will highly prevent the risk of contracting these nasty little buggers

It's not only found in your dog's feces, it is found in the soil.
Well I have noticed that the younger generation is a generation of piggy behavior.
When I went to school as a child no one had lice.
I am shocked to find that it is now common in schools .......
So with that level of hygiene my guess is more folks have worms then ever.
Ever been in a public restroom and notice how many people leave WITHOUT washing their hands
Yes .. they can
percentage? probably pretty low
Not a whole lot of people will mess with their dog's crap and then immediatly stick their fingers in their mouths
