I live in Toronto, and my uncle gave a dog 2 years ago and I never knew we needed to get license until now. So if I go the Toronto Pet Place, what do I say? Because I never got any shots for it either. The dog is 2 years old now. HELP, THANKYOU SO MUCH!
Here in the states we only need rabies to get a lisence and not every one has to lisence. So I would get the rabies first and contact the agency and just let them know you got a new dog and would liek to lisence it.

While they do not require proof of vaccines, you should get your dog vaccinated to protect him against potentially deadly contagious diseases. So please do contact a vet of your choosing and make an appointment to have him vaccinated.
you get rabies tags from the vet but you can go to most pet accessories stores to get the tags with your name, number, and address and such ... good luck
used to get to get them from my vet. now i have to get from local animal control.
