i use to have a chow and from what i can remember the chow rly only liked me. it was very protective, barked and bit people. it bit my sister and was sent to the pound. i was so sad. for my dog. my sister knew better not to pet her. but she didnt have 2 get bit but whatever. but i heard chows tend to like only 1 person so is it true?
Some dogs are more independent than others. Some will get very attached to only one person, but that does NOT mean the dog will not like other people or be aggressive towards them.
Your dog was aggressive and bit your sister because she was never properly trained and socialized, and that is the OWNER's fault, not the dog's.
No, its NOT true
Chows are a little more independent and not up your aZZZZZ all the time ... like a Lab, for example
The fact that you had a possibly badly bred, untrained, unsocialized dog ... DOESNT REFLECT ON ALL DOGS OF THAT BREED
I do know they were very popular at one point and over bred just like every other breed. And care was not taken with the parents temperments or health for that matter. Thats where the AKC comes into play in the puppy mills & Petstore puppies.
Badly bred, untrained, ill-mannered & spoiled rotten junk .... of whatever breed or lack thereof .... is nastyazz & dangerous.
I Guess yours did.
NO, that's NOT true. My Chow loved everyone.
