I went to the dog park today and my dog is the spitting image of a coyote.
Everyone asked me how i bought a coyote but i explained i adopted him as a mix breed. And they asked me if i would sell him or if i knew where to buy him (i didnt get him from a store).
but i insisted that he just looks that way his bros and sisters look like normal dogs.
But why does everyone want a wild looking animal? I have a poodle too and i love her as she is.
A lot of people want to own exotics because it makes them feel important or superior. It's to make them the center of attention. These are the drama kings and queens you meet every day who always steer the conversation back to themselves, who can't just pass an ordinary day. Something's always up.
As I have said before, buying a wild animal doesn't make your penis any bigger. It kills wild animals.
As to your dog, let people know that with a little internet research, they can probably find a coyote or wolfy looking dog in any pound or shelter in America.
Wild dogs in the household is not an ordinary thing.

Everyone wants to be exceptional.
And everyone who wants one truly believes they can handle a wild dog, and unfortunately for the ones they buy, they are often quite mistaken.
I genuinely believe it's a superiority thing.
Me, my dog breeds of choice are the Mastiffs and other drafting-type dogs. I'll take them over a wolf, fox, or coyote ANY day.
To add to everyones comment: YOU enjoy the attention. Hence why you come on here to mention it and than inquire on getting a sugar glider. Another rarity. Admit it, you desire wild looking dogs and feel superior showing it off-hence to why you chose him over the rest in the liter that look "normal" ;.
