I'm planning to adopt a pit bull from a pet shelter and I'm wondering how much does it cost. Also I'm thinking about adopting it as a puppy so please help, thank you in advance.

It costs your life...nah just kidding. I think adoptions are free, especially for pit bulls because they tend to have a bad name. Good luck =)

Can't really answer that, because shelters set their own adoption fees.

Pups usually cost more because people are willing to pay more for a puppy.

When I adopt a dog, I get it from the county dog pound for $29. But that's just the dog ... no vet-care, no spay/neuter, no temperament-testing.

If you adopt from a shelter or breed rescue that includes all those things, expect to pay a few hundred bucks for the dog.

Many animal shelters have a set price for pets, ranging from 40 to 70 dollars. It is best to simply ask the shelter. Enjoy your new pet!
